Human mind is perfectly capable of scraping the intent of the criticism. The difference between “You’re an awful painter” and “Your paintings could be better” is bold. A self believing person will never doubt himself on grounds of other person’s knowledge. But, criticism is in itself a negative virtue. I choose love to be a better answer.
